Why does my husband leave town before these things happen?

So, my little Potato broke his left arm last night, falling off of our golf cart.  Tucker took a turn too fast and Wade rolled off and this is what we get.  We were at the ER until midnight.  The Xrays at the hospital were even more detailed than this.   I haven’t seen such a bad one on these guys yet.  He was very brave and impressed me that he could be going through so much and not be all that upset about it.  I nearly gagged when I first saw the Xrays.  Tucker was quite upset about it, too.  He will know not to go too fast now.  Lessons learned.  So the next few weeks we will have to watch the swelling and make sure he is comfortable.

They anesthetized him for the reduction (read- pulling it back out into place).  He slept for most of it, and so, his wake up was interesting to watch.  He wanted to say silly things.  And he did. I recorded some of it onto my phone, I just need to find a way to download it.  Seein’ as how I am a little behind the times on these electronical thingies.  Figuring out how to blog was hard enough.

About dendrobiem

Into: ancient history, horses, dogs, birds, nature, gardening, futbol (soccah!), baseball, hockey, rugby, working hard, buying shoes. Not into: purses, angry people, bosses with inferiority complexes, eating eel, people who abuse their children, people who refuse to recycle because of conspiracy theories, who should team up with the folks who don't buy any organic product because of a news report about some organic labeling being inaccurate. Definitely not into Tr*mp
