Guitar of the Week

From my collection – the Alvarez FD60AMB.

A very pretty guitar.  The super glossy tiger maple top is distinctive.  The thin wood is hard to keep tuned in Florida humidity.  I like the low profile body, 4 inches, compared to 5 inches on a typical dreadnought.  It fits my girlish proportions better than a full size.  It’s a great guitar for taking to a friend’s house with a small amp and making a little background music out on the deck.  An Xmas gift from Scott.  Or maybe birthday…?  hmmm…  I should know this…

About dendrobiem

Into: ancient history, horses, dogs, birds, nature, gardening, futbol (soccah!), baseball, hockey, rugby, working hard, buying shoes. Not into: purses, angry people, bosses with inferiority complexes, eating eel, people who abuse their children, people who refuse to recycle because of conspiracy theories, who should team up with the folks who don't buy any organic product because of a news report about some organic labeling being inaccurate. Definitely not into Tr*mp
